Kimberly Payne is a consultant and Ohio Arts Council Teaching Artist through the Ohio Arts Council. She has degrees and certifications from The Scandinavian Institute for Physical Culture in Denmark, The American College of Sports Medicine, and Malone University (MAOL), and The University of Akron (BA Dance). Kimberly began her dance education in the rural village of Seville, Ohio. Her performing arts skill led her to perform nationally and in Scandinavia and Europe (Royal Albert Hall), and Italy (2013). Payne served as an instructor in Viborg, Denmark while completing an independent study at the Institute of Scandinavian Physical Culture on Educating the Whole Person with Olav Ballisager. Payne earned a BA in Dance at the University of Akron and created a modern dance company, Living Fountain, from 1993-2010 in Canton, Ohio. She currently teaches dance in Ashland, Medina, Cuyahoga counties for arts organizations and public schools.
